  1. Start Employment Section: Is R ≥ 14 at interview?
    If no, go to I.B. -Freelance/Self-Employed Section.
    If yes, continue to I.A.
    1. Rounds 2/3: Confirm employers from DLI (Date of Last Interview).
      1. Since 14th birthday, has R done any (other) employee work?
        If no, go to I.A.v.
        If yes, continue to I.A.ii.
      2. Enter employer name, startdate, stopdate (or currently working for).
      3. Any gaps between jobs?
      4. Paid internship with employer?
      5. At least one employer listed?
        If no, go to I.B. -Freelance/Self-Employed Section.
        If yes, create/update the YEMP roster and continue to I.A.vi.
      6. Begin EMPLOYER Loop:
        1. Rounds 2/3: Is this an ongoing DLI job?
          If no, continue to I.A.vi.b.
          If yes and military:
          • Rounds 2/3: Military: Branch, pay grade, rating. Go to I.A.vii.
          If yes and other:
          • Rounds 2/3: Civilian: Current/stopdate earnings, industry, occupation; if R ≥ 16: benefits, employer size, job satisfaction, supervisor, shift worked, job search while employed. Go to I.A.vi.f.
        2. Round 1: Relationship of R to person who hired and who recommended.
        3. Did job end before R was age 16 or is R < 16 with job ongoing?
          If yes, go to I.A.vi.e.

      3. At least one freelance/SE job listed?
        If no, go to I.C. -Gaps Section.
        If yes, create roster of freelance/SE jobs and continue to I.B.iv.

        If no, go to I.D.

      2. Number of gaps between jobs? (Calculated based on dates of employment in roster.)
        If none, go to I.D.
        If one or more, continue to I.C.iii.
      3. Begin GAPS Loop:
        1. Dates of each gap; total number of weeks in gaps.
        2. Number of gap weeks working at freelance/SE job; number looking for work or on layoff.
